Timmer headed to the Franca train station in the El Born district of Barcelona, meeting up with Sinisa of Sweet Easy Wine Tours, Paul and Benedict of Lazenne, Zoltan Csaba Nagy, and Carles and Miriam of 156vins.com. It was the presentation of the 2016 edition of the Catalunya Wine Guide, and also the presentation of the winners of the awards.
We were happy to see several of our friends from past visits pick up awards at the event including Scala Dei (Best Rose), Vall Llach (Top wine overall and Top Red), Cellers d’en Guilla (Top Sweet), and *La Vinyeta plus Celler El Masroig picking up honorary awards.
