We love Barcelona By Road. Marc and his team have a little something for everyone. Marc is a super knowledgeable about the area, the history, and also the wine. His extensive international experience means that he is great with almost any nationality. Availability
Barcelona By Road has tours available all days. However, it is recommended to make tour reservations at least 10 days in advance to ensure no complications. If you’re on a short time schedule it is best to contact via phone to ensure no challenges with bookings. Unlike some of the local tours offered, Barcelona By Road has set relationships with their vineyards to ensure availability no matter the day and time of year you wish to book.
What’s the wine connection and Where can you go?
Barcelona By Road has three wine regions they go to for their preset tours (as available on the website) – DO Emporda (near the French Border) DO Penedes, in the heart of cava country, and the critically acclaimed DOQ Priorat Region. All three offer a cultural and culinary connection beyond just the winery tours themselves. However, they have connections and contacts in ALL sub-regions of Catalunya and can do a custom tour anywhere.

Secret Tip
Do the Ferrari. The four-seater California model is incredible from Spring until early Winter. The trip to a historic winery, one of the originals to produce cava, followed by lunch, and then back to Barcelona is an amazing experience.

We love Barcelona By Road. Look, we know dealing with tour guides can be difficult, and some in the region for boutique or high end tours can be unresponsive.
